M2 Max chip

This MacBook model is equipped with Apple’s specially designed M2 Max-SoC (SoC – system on chip) which combines a 12-core CPU with a 38-core GPU. It is built on a revolutionary second-generation 5 nanometer process that ensures a whopping 60 billion transistors have found their way into it – 3x the amount of the M2, paving the way for extremely high performance and power efficiency. It also comes with the Neural Engine with up to 40% faster performance than the previous generation, and up to 96GB of unified memory, so the entire chip can instantly draw from a single source of cached memory.
